Destiny is located along Northwest Florida's Gulf Coast on Scenic Old Highway 98 in the city of Destin. Several airports serve this area:
- Okaloosa Airport in Fort Walton Beach is about 40 minutes to the northwest of Destiny and is serviced by ASA, Delta, and Northwest.
- Pensacola Airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes to the west and is serviced by Delta, American, Air Tran, Continental, Northwest, and US Air.
- Panama City Airport is about 1 hour 15 minutes to the east and is serviced by Delta, American, Northwest and U.S. Air.
